Gift Guide for Her

I was actually surprised how many of you requested a gift guide for yourselves, mostly because at any given time I have a running list of 10+ things I want. So I am more than happy to share a few of my favourite things I have and love or am currently lusting over. This particular gift guide is focused on domestic items to elevate your space, but stay tuned for a rest and relaxation inspired list coming soon!

  1. Fancy Pepper Mill

It’s no secret I am drawn to lux items that make everyday tasks feel a little fancier and exciting. A quote I love is “I am going to make everything around me beautiful- that will be my life.” We are currently in need of a new pepper mill and any time I see a kitchen with a gorgeous one on display, I am reminded. Here are a few that will look stunning on an open shelf or counter top: Swissmar in Natural Stain or Walnut, a traditional Turkish pepper mill, or a Peugeot 12” grinder in natural..

    $44 +

  2. Dutch Oven

I received the Always Pan as a gift for Mother’s Day and love it so much. We use it on a daily basis, keep on on display on our cook top because it’s just too pretty to hide, and I swear food just tastes better when it’s cooked in it! Now I want to upgrade all of my cookware and next on my list is the, Perfect Pot to match our pan, OR a Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I’ve wanted a Le Creuset pot since forever- they are just one of those pieces you’ll keep forever. If you are looking for a more affordable option- check out this one from Amazon- only $72.35.

    $220-$399

  3. Nespresso Machine

When I first became a mom five years ago (crazy), I asked for a Nespresso machine for Christmas/ my birthday because I knew I would be spending more time at home while on maternity leave and wouldn’t be able to grab Starbucks on a daily basis. I’ve used that machine pretty much everyday for the past five years and it has been one of my favourite gifts ever! I have the Vertuoline machine and frother and it has served me well. This one is currently on sale for a great deal. I love this rose gold edition; it would look so sleek in a butler’s pantry. Bonus, if your partner is a coffee drinker, gift him a Nespresso and you can both reap the benefits. ;)

    $169 +

  4. Fable Dinnerware

I upgraded our tableware this past year with Fable and nice dishes just make dining at home so much more enjoyable. I feel like gorgeous, every day bowls and plates are the new china. I would much rather have a set that I enjoy each day, rather than a fancy set locked up in a china cabinet until a special occasion comes along. I love the uniqueness and artisan shape of the ceramics, which are made in Portugal.

  5. Gorgeous Glassware

A fun fact about me is that I really appreciate proper glassware- champagne out of a flute, a martini out of a martini glass, etc. And bonus points if the glassware is both proper and pretty. I feel like a set of beautiful glasses and a bottle of wine or champagne is the perfect gift for almost every occasion. I love these gold rimmed coupe glasses, highball, and lowball glasses, perfect for sipping your favourite holiday cocktails from.

    $19.50-$24.50

  6. Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer

The ultimate kitchen trophy, IMO, is a stand mixer, on display on your counter. I’ve always wanted one and never had one! If there’s a lovely lady who loves to bake- this one is for them! Maybe it would encourage me to do more baking! Kitchenaid continues to step up their game- and they recently released an Artisan series, with unique textures and colours, designed to make every day moments feel special. Kitchenaid is speaking my language with this one.

    $999

  7. Stoneware Pitcher

This gorgeous pitcher, which comes in ivory and terracotta, is a versatile piece for any home. It would be a statement on an open kitchen shelf or as a centrepiece on a dining table. To elevate the gift further, gift it as a vase, accompanying a festive floral arrangement. I love how it has that ‘one of a kind’ look.

    $32.50

  8. Fable Flatware

We recently got rid of our old, mismatched, hand-me-down silverware set and traded it in for this lux matte black flatware set from Fable. We’ve had it a couple of weeks now and I’m obsessed. It’s the perfect weight- heavy but not too heavy and a gorgeous finish. We have not had any problems with the finish changing or showing water spots. If black isn’t your thing, there is an equally stunning matte gold.
